Constant and special attention has always been given to training whereby over the years more than 4,000 young people have been trained in a dedicated centre within the Group. Successful cooperation agreements have been established with the Faculty of Engineering of the Bologna University, theWood Institute of the British Columbia University in Vancouver, the Fontys in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, where an Advanced Wood Products Laboratory for specialised courses in wood technology, is in operation thanks to the SCM Group.
